Etiquette at the Studio
Dance class is both educational and fun. A key part of our training is developing discipline and respect for teachers and fellow students.
- Students may bring water bottles but must keep them in the designated cubby.
- No snacks are allowed on the dance floor.
- Dance shoes must not be worn outside the studio.
- No jewelry may be worn in class (except stud earrings).
- Students are responsible for their belongings. (Please label dance wear and shoes with your child's name)
- Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to observe the class. Please make every effort to arrive on time.
- Young children must be supervised at all times.
- No yelling or running inside the studio.
- Parents and visitors in the lobby must not disrupt class unless there's an emergency.
- Instructors may dismiss any student who disrupts the class.
- Cell phones must be turned off in dance rooms.
- Parents must pick up their children on time. Instructors and front staff cannot supervise students after class ends.
Dress Code
Uniform t-shirt, black leggings, and dance shoes that instructors assign (folklorico shoes, latin dance shoe, ballet shoes or jazz shoes).
Recitals
Studio recitals are held twice a year—in early December and spring—plus special performances at local events. During recital preparation, children strengthen their focus by memorizing choreography and learning to perform with music alongside their peers.
Invite friends and family to watch your child shine on stage!
Attendance Policy
Check in at the kiosk before your child enters the classroom.
Attendance is taken at the start of each class. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be asked to observe the class. Regular attendance is essential, as frequent absences or tardiness can slow down the progress of the entire class.
Payment & Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds or adjustments for absences or national holidays. Your payment period will be adjusted for winter and spring breaks when the studio is closed. If you do not follow the proper withdrawal process, no refunds will be issued.
Withdrawal
Please notify your child's instructor AND our front staff if your child will not continue. To cancel your membership status, provide notice at least 7 days before your next payment due date.
Switching Classes or Disciplines
Students may switch dance disciplines at the beginning of each 6-week session. This timing ensures smooth transitions and maintains consistent progress in class choreography and skill development. Please notify both your current instructor and the front desk in advance so we can help facilitate your transition.
