Our Ballet Folklorico class is designed for boys and girls 6-12 years old who want to explore the vibrant world of Mexican folk dance. In this 45-minute class, students will learn:
- Zapateado (footwork) techniques from various Mexican states
- Skirt techniques and movements
- Traditional dance steps and choreography
- Cultural context and history behind the dances
Instructor: Sylvia Bazan, with 15 years of experience
Age Group: 6-12 yrs
Skill Level: Beginners welcome
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothing for movement
- Tennis shoes
- Water bottle with name
